Hi,

My name is Jan Bogaerts and I started Elastetic. After more than 20 years of developing software for big and small companies, both at startups and blue-chip corporations, I figured it was time to finally get my own thing going.

So, on January 2, 2018, Elastetic was born and a new journey started for me and this little fledgling company. At first, I was completely by myself and my focus went solely to the development of custom software solutions at the request of customers, be it as an IOT, mobile or cloud application. This task is still a primary occupation of the company and I still am the lead contributor for these projects, but things have progressed since. Elastetic is now also beginning to carry it’s own product(s). And with this, extra help is sometimes called for and supplied by my good friends at CodeBehind.

Oh, and in case you are wondering what Elastetic stands for: it’s the combination of the words ‘elastic’ and ‘aesthetic’, cause that’s what I wanted the company to represent: a flexible entity that produces nice things.
